Good IRC client with just one defect

All that you need to use old IRC protocol on most recent iOS versions.It has just one defect, that is you lose the connection every times you switch to another app for more than a few seconds. It doesn’t work in standby, a big weakness for an IRC client.

Unfortunately, this issue is due to Apple's policies, as detailed in our FAQ on igloo.app/faq.To announce longer battery life each year at WWDC, Apple has progressively reduced apps' backgrounding time—from 10 minutes, to 7, to 5, to 3, to 1, and now to just 30 seconds.There is nothing we can do to change this. We encourage you to provide feedback to Apple and request that they allow users to choose the duration of backgrounding for apps. You can do this at apple.com/feedback/iphone.

I don't understand why I have to pay for this app if I already have igloo that you renamed to Classic, in a couple of years you'll change again and we'll have to pay again? Among other things, not a very popular price. It doesn't seem correct to me.

The new app was made because the old app was bad, it was my first ever app and I had no idea what I was doing, it was honestly a miracle that it worked at all. There's not going to be a reason to make a new app now since this is a properly coded app written from scratch. As for the price, you have to understand that IRC isn't very popular anymore, only a few hundred people will use this and I spent 2 years of my time on and off building this new version. I'm working for pennies per hour when you do the math.
