Hello everyone.I started working with iOverlander in December 2014 while I was solo around the world on my Toyota. The collaboration was a real turning point that facilitated the entire organization of the itinerary.It is not a list of locations to spend the night but a set of valuable news aimed at facilitating and choosing the most interesting and safe itinerary.This characteristic cannot be left only to the good will of the employees but requires careful and continuous verification by the organizers. Given the enormous size of all the data collected, moreover always evolving, it is impossible to manage them in free time, but it is essential to employ full-time specialized personnel.I suggest that organizers include the possibility of purchasing unlimited access for even short periods, for example 2 or 3 months, so as not to lose the collaboration of those who have little time to travel.Personally, I have to thank the organizers of the site who with iOverlander helped me to realize the project of the around the world trip. I recently arrived in Italy from the Arabian Peninsula, always alone with my Toyota that has traveled half a million kilometers, even though I have reached the age of 82.Giuliana Fea

You can subscribe on a monthly basis and just pay if your really need our app. Or you can contribute frequently to receive a free upgrade. But you are right, it is such a relief that our team is now on paid salaries, some of them have been with us for a decade and donated countless hours of their free time. We are really thankful for everything they have done to run this app.

Completely understand the decision of the developers to make a pay app, wideout a profit you can not run a app…But come on… 99€ a year? I will NEVER pay something like that, I can’t afford it.. maybe we can discuss for a one time payment but for sure no 99€ there is a lot of different ways to earn some profit from an app like that, and remember that this app exist only because overloaders…

Thank you for your feedback.You should know that the decision to offer a paid subscription was out of necessity to sustain our app. Without income from the subscription and advertising we would not be able to maintain iOverlander. Our founders wish that we could remain completely free forever, but after 10 years of attempting to run iOverlander that way, we can say with confidence, it is not possible. Please know that our original app is still completely free and without ads, we will keep it available as long as possible. L’app è utile, la versione precedente gratuita era fantastica, ma adesso chiedere 99 euro l’anno è una follia…! Anticipo la risposta degli sviluppatori che diranno che ci sono costi da sostenere. Vero, ma è anche vero che questa app si basa sui contributi degli utenti, senza i quali non potrebbe esistere. Quindi, ABBASSATE il prezzo e poi ne riparleremo.
