Mesopotamian-inspired emoji stickers! Has anyone ever texted you asking what your ethnicity was, but you felt no emoji helped represent you? Or has your yima (mother) ever texted you asking what you wanted for food, but you couldn't find the dolma emoji? Now, with Mesomojis, all these things and more can happen. It has always been a personal goal of mine to help bring about digital identity for my community—the Assyrian community. And so, I made Mesomojis. It will be regularly updated with new emoji stickers to help bring even further representation to the Assyrians. However, I want to give everyone the opportunity to be a part of this, so if you have any emoji sticker ideas that you would love to see, don't hesitate to reach out and share your ideas with me! *Note that these are emoji stickers, meaning that you cannot input them into your text box with text present. This is the nature of stickers, unfortunately.

In celebration of Assyrian New Year (Khab b-Nisan), we’re excited to release a special pack of our most requested Mesomojis! Assyrian Dancer (Male) - In the heart of ancient Mesopotamia, Assyrian men once walked the stone-lined streets wearing the kustanā—a long, flowing tunic that spoke of simplicity and strength. Wrapped at the waist with a wide woven belt, this garment allowed ease of movement, whether in the fields, at the marketplace, or in celebration. Assyrian Dancer (Female) - Shimmered with vibrant embroidery, delicate beadwork, and hand-stitched sequins that caught the sun like tiny mirrors. A wide sash cinched the waist, often crafted with care by mothers and grandmothers, passed down through the generations. Draped over the hair and shoulders was the bushāna, a flowing scarf that moved with the wind like a whispered story. Silver and gold jewelry adorned her neck, ears, and forehead—not just for beauty, but to echo the legacy of her family and the richness of her culture. Yalekhta - The yalekhta dances before the feet do. Held in the graceful hands of women, this lightweight, often sheer scarf becomes an extension of the soul. Twirled high above the head or swept rhythmically side to side, it sways like a banner of joy, a ribbon of resilience. Cuneiform Tablet - Before paper, before pens, before alphabets had names—there was clay, and there was purpose. The cuneiform tablet is not just an artifact; it is a time capsule pressed with the fingertips of civilization itself. Crafted by ancient scribes with reed styluses, each wedge-shaped mark etched into wet clay carried meaning: a trade agreement, a hymn to the gods, a royal decree, or a father’s record of his harvest.
