Set modes, tap your Anchor device, and block distractions instantly. Choose Group Lock or Individual Lock, pick who’s in, and decide if only the admin locks or everyone locks on their device. Schedule focused time for the family and keep phones out of the way when it matters most. One hub, one tap, less distraction—together.
altro Setup practice now tells you the next step: press to unlock, then continue when you're done. Home invite lists Child, Member, and Admin on their own. When a family mode is created with the same name as a personal mode, that phone's app picks move onto the family mode and the personal mode is removed.

Admins and members can practice tapping the Anchor during setup. The schedule example uses AM/PM. Invites start with the journey to lock apps and live more, and email opens with real paragraphs in Mail and Gmail.

The hub owner can remove someone from the hub. They keep their account, get a notification naming the hub, and the hub leaves this iPhone right away. Deleting the hub removes everyone else from it and keeps their accounts. Children set up personal modes and skip emergency unlock in setup. Live Activities start on. You can take a profile photo, including a Live Photo, with the camera.

iPhone Duo has its own home. The cover, the phone open and upright, and the phone open on its side each have a layout. Every other iPhone stays on the home you already use. Typing an invite code joins the hub again. Sign in from email by tapping the link on this phone.

Ask a question from the question mark. Anchor Help answers in the app, and you can email the team from the same place. Help follows light and dark mode. Two of your modes can't share a name, and two family modes can't either. The note before you invite a member, and the note before you invite an admin, each show once. Leaving a hub takes you to create or join one, and you stay there. When someone adds you to a family mode, this phone opens the app picker and shows who gets locked. Someone joining only sees personal modes for their first one. Ending a family lock notifies the people who were still locked.
1.2.3 21 ott
Personal locks and unlocking with your Anchor work with no connection. Family locks still need to be online, and Offline explains that. On Edit Mode, review your app selections carefully. Phone never locks. Messages, FaceTime, and Maps lock with a category only if they are removed from Always Allowed.

Anchor asks what it should help with first, then opens that mode so you can pick apps and people. Family dinner and kids' homework only show up if you invited someone or someone else is already in the hub. Add Mode starts a blank mode. Closing that first mode takes you back to the choices. A Bedtime mode is no longer added for you. Hold to lock takes 2 seconds, and the button fills while you hold. The reader opens when you tap Scan my Anchor. The invite list stays open. Continue says Continue without inviting until you share an invite or someone joins. Email sign-in sits on a plain background. The practice step is a test, and nothing actually locks. The app follows your phone's light or dark setting until you pick a theme.

Save stays off until you pick your apps. A family lock that includes a child also needs kids' apps. You can pick your apps even when you are not in Who gets locked. A child's personal mode only asks for their own apps. Another adult no longer looks ready just because kids' apps are set. If nobody is in Who gets locked, the button says so. A family lock that cannot start stops spinning. A personal schedule no longer announces that it ended long after the window closed. On a new schedule, moving the start time moves the end with it until you set the end.

Kids in your Apple Family show up in the picker. The other tab no longer shows a second lock badge. If only one lock is on, tapping your Anchor unlocks it from either tab. On a call, open Anchor and press to unlock — you still tap the Anchor. A child added to a mode is no longer asked to set up apps. A parent can tap one person in a family lock and unlock just them. Opening who is included no longer unchecks you.

Profile photos show in place of names. The family list says who still needs to pick apps. Tap Member / Child or Admin to share an invite link. Kids in your Apple Family show up in the picker. The Family tab no longer cuts off the word Family.

Only the parent who started a family lock is notified when someone leaves it. Unlocking a personal lock stays on that phone. If a family member's phone can't apply the lock, Lock Confirmation shows Not Locked, with the reason under their name.
1.1.5 24 set
Family unlock is only for the parent who started the lock. Other parents see Hold to lock, grayed if that mode is already on.
Locks stay on after you hold — no brief unlock flash, including when you’re the only person in the hub. If a schedule starts while Anchor is closed, the timer keeps the real start time when you open the app.
Edit Mode and the picker now show the same count of apps and sites. Picking several categories no longer locks everything. On your own modes, a note explains how to block Messages and FaceTime: Screen Time → Always Allowed, then remove them.
1.1.4 22 set
Locks stay on after you hold to lock. No more brief unlock flash.
Personal locks are stable even if you’re the only person in the hub.
If a schedule starts while Anchor is closed, the timer keeps the real start time when you open the app.
Picking apps with a category no longer clears your list when you reopen the picker.
Selecting a lot of categories no longer locks the whole phone — only what you actually picked.
The app count now includes sites, and Edit Mode matches the picker.
1.1.3 13 set
Fixed the ability to lock Messages, FaceTime, and the App Store. Starting a mode is clearer: hold on Home anytime, or add a schedule after setup if you want it automatic. Also in this version: • Edit Mode app icons stay in place • Editing a schedule no longer drops an active lock • Kids can leave the hub or delete their account only if a parent allows it • Setup is shorter and easier to follow
1.1.2 11 set
Personal locks stay on your devices without a hub sync error, Personal / Family only appears when someone else is in your hub, All Apps & Categories now blocks Messages — tap Messages once so it sticks, Unchecking an app in Block these (Messages, and others) now stays unchecked and unlocks, Allow list and Block these both keep the apps you pick

Invites — Onboarding now uses the same invite card as the home screen, with a short rotating line (“Invite your family, friends…”).
Block or allow lists — Choose Block selected (shield what you pick) or Only allow selected (everything else is shielded) for the whole hub; schedules follow the same setting.
Clearer mode summaries — Mode descriptions focus on apps or categories only (no site counts), and stay on one line so they’re easier to read.
Select Mode — Cleaner screen with less extra labeling at the top.
1.0.4 6 mag
Family & hubs: Group lock rules line up better with child vs parent devices, so grown-ups aren’t stuck behind kid-only unlock when they shouldn’t be.
Lock status: Clearer labels when everyone has applied a group lock—and honest wording when someone’s device hasn’t locked yet, including a note about Anchor needing to run in the background.
Home: Fresher icons and a clearer Members / lock status flow from the home screen.
Schedules: Cleaner schedule cards (no extra badge), your own routine name (defaults to the mode), and a less awkward layout for which days it runs.
Child devices: Fortress override codes are turned off on Family child setups, where they don’t belong.
Polish: Tab bar matches your accent theme; small copy and reliability tweaks throughout.
