Bugs

I am forced to write a review since the app does not feature any method to report bugs to the developer. Let alone the Renfe website: it’s a maze with no way to report issues related to the mobile app. I am facing two issues:

It is impossible to change your ID type or number once it’s been registered. If your ID card or passport expires, good luck entering the details of your new ID: neither the app nor the Renfe website allows you to make such changes.

The mobile number field is limited to 8 digits when registering a companion traveller. Italian mobile numbers, for example, can comprise of 10+ digits.

Not everyone has a Spanish DNI, not everyone has a Spanish mobile number. Guys , we are in 2022 and live in the EU….

Useless app

The worst app. I am still not sure what is for. You can’t buy the tickets from here, even when you think you have the option, you won’t be able to complete the purchase! I can’t wait to see a competitor, as at the moment, Renfe is the only option if you want to move by train…
