SceneThread is a camera that edits while you shoot. Hold the shutter to record a moment, release to make the cut, and keep going. Every clip lands as a colored thread on a live timeline, so you can see your film taking shape before you ever open an editor. SceneThread has no account, no ads, no analytics, and no cloud upload. Camera, microphone, photo, and speech access are requested only when you use the feature that needs them. SCENETHREAD PREMIUM Capture, edit, and share are free. Premium adds 4K capture, ProRes, Apple Log, HDR HLG, Cinematic depth, Spatial Video, timecode, and external-drive recording; the full 24-track music library; cross dissolve and social transitions; the title pack; custom LUTs, film grain, letterbox, and ending cards; 10-second trailers; and Apple Intelligence title, caption, and shot suggestions on supported iPhones. Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. Change Length, Mood, Look and music, then Share or Save, or open Refine for full editing. • iPhone Duo: the selfie camera follows the display you're using, the person you're filming can see the frame on the outer display, and folding or unfolding re-fits the camera between clips. • Clips stay upright in every orientation, and on iPhone 17 Pro and later you can tap a subject to keep it in focus as it moves. • Smoother capture: editing and export work pauses while you record, and the viewfinder no longer goes black after visiting Your films. • Export: no dark frames at cuts, 4K and 120 fps films export as HEVC, HDR and Apple Log clips convert to standard colour, and exports can be cancelled. • Many reliability fixes across editing, storage and the Apple Watch remote.
