This update brings several gameplay, visual, and performance improvements to the live arena. New spawn protection: When you enter the arena, your snake is protected for the first 5 seconds. During this time, it blinks smoothly with low transparency and can pass through obstacles, walls, its own body, and other snakes. Other players also pass through you while your snake is protected. This gives you a fair moment to understand where you spawned and helps prevent instant collisions when a new snake appears in the arena. Improved joystick direction feedback: A new premium direction arrow now appears in front of your snake while steering. The arrow follows the joystick direction, and its distance from the snake changes based on how strongly the joystick is pushed. A light touch keeps the arrow closer, while a stronger push moves it farther away, making movement direction clearer and more responsive. Better arena performance: Static arena elements are now rendered more efficiently, reducing unnecessary redraws during gameplay. This should help lower battery usage and keep the arena smoother during longer sessions. Cleaner visuals: Food glow intensity has been reduced for a more balanced arena look. The previous boost wind effect around the snake head has also been removed, keeping boost gameplay cleaner and less visually distracting. Hall of Fame tuning: Hall of Fame refresh timing has been adjusted so it updates at a steadier interval without refreshing too often. Screen behavior: The screen now stays awake while you are actively playing or viewing the arena, so your device should not auto-lock during a live game. Overall, this version focuses on making the arena fairer, smoother, clearer, and more comfortable to play.

Name input on the setup screen accepts only letters and numbers. Name input does not allow more than 24 characters. Invalid characters are ignored while typing, not only after submit. The same name restriction works in both the setup screen and settings screen. The app icon is updated to the latest PNG provided and appears correctly after reinstall/build. Snakes in the arena now render with 3D ring-like segments instead of flat circles. The snake head still looks correct with eyes and keeps its direction visually. Tail taper still affects only the last part of the snake. Boost visuals still work correctly with the new 3D body rendering. Performance remains smooth in arena gameplay with multiple snakes on screen.
