- Choose imperial or metric units in Settings. Inputs, results, scenario comparisons and new PDF/share-card exports stay in sync, with the same calculation rules and saved values. - Tap an existing custom rope to edit it. Save updates the same profile; Cancel leaves it unchanged. Saved scenarios and historical PDF snapshots retain their rope values.

- Custom rope profiles now show the calculated effective modulus, the allowed range, and why a profile cannot be saved. Existing validation rules are unchanged. - What-if comparisons explain when the brake does not slip and why comparison results can match. - Improved name-field separators in gear and custom rope forms. - Improved reliability when opening the system share sheet for comparison PDFs and scenario cards. - New scenarios are added only after Save succeeds. Cancel discards the draft, and failed saves keep the editor open for retry.

Clarified educational-only use and numerical comparisons. The provisional model has no independent professional validation and must not guide field operations, equipment selection or load-safety decisions. Improved Pro plan selection, purchase and restore feedback, and a new educational comparison animation. Annual and Lifetime are the current purchase options; historical subscriptions remain supported. Comparison PDFs now use Letter-sized pages with automatic continuation for long notes and records. Improved numeric input, keyboard dismissal, and Settings support links.
