Calc Hub — 8 Professional Calculators
The Calc Hub tab delivers real engineering computations based on current design codes. Calculators include AISC 360 LRFD beam flexure checks (φMn with utilization ratio), AISC 360 LRFD column capacity (Euler buckling, KL/r, Fcr, φPn), beam reaction diagrams for three support conditions, deflection-to-span ratio verification for live and total loads, ASCE 7 seismic base shear using the Equivalent Lateral Force procedure, ASCE 7 wind velocity pressure and net cladding pressure, ACI 318-19 reinforced concrete section flexure (depth of stress block, φMn, reinforcement ratio checks), and a five-category SI/Imperial unit converter covering force, stress, length, moment, and mass. Every calculator displays intermediate values, utilization ratios, and pass/fail status.
Interactive Simulations
Eight animated Canvas-based simulations let you explore structural behavior in real time. Adjust parameters with sliders and watch physics-accurate results update instantly. Simulations cover beam deflection under point and distributed loads with three support conditions, Euler column buckling with adjustable end conditions and slenderness ratio, gravity and lateral load path tracing through diaphragms and shear walls, stress-strain curves for steel, concrete, and timber, single-degree-of-freedom seismic response spectra, ASCE 7 wind pressure on building envelopes, cross-section property visualization for W-shapes and HSS, and foundation settlement estimation for shallow footings.
Structured Curriculum
