Minor bugfix and small change release Location messages sent to Spotwalla now include bearing, direction (NWES etc) and elevation data. Previously Spotwalla was calculating some of this from subsequent location points. This update now sends elevation data as received from the GPS, in addition to normal location and speed info. Fixed a crash bug which happened when canceling the photo or camera picker, and then attempting to use again. The camera photo picker will no longer allow video mode selection. Spotwalla cannot accept video, only image data. The full resolution image now includes full location and EXIF data with the image in the photo library.

At request of users, I've removed the banner showing new long touch feature when sending custom message. Camera photo captures are 50% larger, and compression settings changed for clearer uploaded images to Spotwalla. Re-enabled SIGNIFICANT location mode at app termination to allow for automatic app-restart which was removed in previous release. Added a link on the main screen to a release notes page on my website to have a place for users to see new features/changes. Changed internal format of location messages to prevent possible collision and loss of messages to be uploaded to Spotwalla. Update internal API calls to remove deprecated methods. Added fixes to help with a very small memory creep.

Updated to newest development guidelines for IOS 14, 15, 16 and 17. Added additional information to location message to help with issues on trips. Reloading from startup now sorts messages in chronological order, rather than the random order from directory services. Modified appDelegate to put specific message into location messages when app is terminated to help with trip debugging. Better handling of application startup and handling of GPS errors. Custom message dialog now supports a long press anywhere on screen to send the message. Custom message with a photo added will display a warning if message is cancelled. Fixes accidentally cancelled messages.

Fixed a reported bug where the Track Logging Slider in Settings page would reset to the default value, rather than retain previously set value.

SWTracker can now be used with Location Services set to "While In Use" and no longer requires "Always" authorization. Fixed a bug related to handling of corrupted location message which caused an infinite loop preventing upload to SpotWalla. Fixed a bug where unsent photos could be deleted when app restarted after a crash. or a intensional kill. Fixed a bug launching settings app from location services warning dialog.

Fixed issues associated with handling of unknown errors returned from Spotwalla website. These errors potentially caused location messages that ended up stuck, and unable to process or delete. Added additional error handling to responses from Spotwalla website. The goal here is to make sure that temporary errors are retried later, while fatal errors cause removal of offending messages from queue. Added additional error handling to emailing of debug log messages. This should better handle the case where there was a failure in sending the log.
