This version allows you to go through the manual 24-word recovery phrase backup process again for any existing account that you can successfully log into. Ensure that you have the latest version of the desktop app installed, log in, and select “Create manual backup” from user security settings.

This version fixes an issue on iOS 15 where the app would get stuck on the splash screen.

* You can now verify that you’ve correctly recorded your manual recovery phrase backup, which we strongly recommend doing in case you ever need it. From account settings, tap the previously-confirmed manual backup and select "Verify your backup". If you find that your recorded backup is inaccurate, please contact support through the app and we’ll be able to assist you. * In line with improvements to transfer confirmation in v1.4.2 of our desktop app, cancelling a confirmation in the mobile authenticator will now retain your prepared transfer in your "Action items" for 24 hours. So you can come back and send it when you're ready, without having to re-enter all the details.

Version 1.6 of our mobile authenticator brings internal improvements and security upgrades that enable exciting new features coming soon to the Tokenized wallet. For now you’ll notice changes to how cloud backups of your private key work (don’t worry your current backup is still fully supported): * Cloud backups are now only loaded when needed, and your security approval is required each time * Backups in iCloud are now stored in your iCloud Keychain, taking advantage of end-to-end encryption * You can upgrade an existing backup in iCloud to use iCloud Keychain at any time in the account settings page. You can also verify, delete, or recreate any existing backup by tapping on it in account settings (authentication required). We recommend taking the time to verify your existing backups after installing the update. * Internally, every backup you create now uses a unique encryption key, meaning they can be individually revoked if necessary

This fixes an issue with pairing (details not shown on confirmation screen and continue button disabled) for accounts where the registered email address has a top-level-domain with more than 4 characters, like “.world”, “.plumbing”, etc. The corresponding fix in desktop app v1.2.25 or later is also required.
