TriggerApp is a personal and community safety app that helps users access and share safety and emergency information from their loved ones and community. Panic Button: (At the centre of the home screen)The Panic Button helps you raise an alarm to all of their emergency contacts simultaneously. At the tap of this button, TriggerApp sends a notification, and broadcasts your live location and audio simultaneously to all your emergency contacts. This provides everyone with sufficient information and context to intervene and help the user get the appropriate response. Community: The Community feature provides a timeline where you can share and access safety and emergency information from your community and surrounding. Here, you can share every kind of safety information from accidents, dangerous activity, flooding, bad road, robberies and anything that can help the community stay alert! You can share text, audio, pictures and videos on the timeline. Information Verification: Pending further updates, TriggerApp users can help verify information shared by other users with the True and False buttons. User's posts will also carry their full names to reduce the likelihood of false information. Profile: Users will create a profile and username on sign-up. Each user's username is unique and is the user's app identity that will be used to add emergency contacts. Users can also customise their profiles with an avatar to solidify identity! Emergency Contacts: Once a profile is created, Users can add friends/family as emergency contacts with their username on TriggerApp. Once the contact accepts, both users can reach each other with the panic button during an emergency. Circles: You can group your emergency contacts into different categories. For instance; parents and family can be personalised in a different circle, with roommates, work/play colleagues in separate circles. This helps when information is higher priority for different contacts. Circles can always be customised anytime Default Receiver: After creating Circles, users can set a Circle as default receivers of a panic alert. This ensures the most important people get alerted in the right situations. Just like circles, the default receiver can always be changed.
