Hello everyone, I am very happy to introduce my new app: VisionTempo!!!
Most metronomes currently on the market are constant metronomes. Although they do have features such as gradual increasing tempo and presets, they only cover the most basic needs of practicing. One problem that I had with them was that I was not able to change the time signatures and tempo quick enough in time for my next entry. For example, in the piece Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, there are many tempo change markings, and it would be physically impossible to reach the controls on a metronome app quick enough as to stay on track with the accompaniment.
Because of this, I created this app with the ability to detect hand gestures using AI, which will shift the tempo up or down by 10 beats. This solution is by no means the final product; I am still trying to figure out better ways to use gesture detection with the app (one idea that I currently have is that I can assign certain gestures to toggle between presets; this could enable more accurate tempo changing). But with my one-man R&D team, these features will be implemented slower than commercial companies.

Hello everyone, this update adds the ability to toggle the gesture detection feature on and off. I noticed that the feature was using up a lot of battery when not in use, so hopefully the new toggle will preserve your battery life for a longer period.
Also, specifically for iOS, I lowered the required iOS from 17.4 to 17.0 because I noticed that not many people actually updates their iPhones to the latest sub-version of the newest iOS. Hopefully this would allow many more people to download this app.
