You tapped it again. Did you mean to? Wait! puts one breath between you and the apps you open on autopilot. Set it in front of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — whichever it is for you — and the next time you tap that app, Wait! appears first. Four seconds in, six seconds out, and then one plain question: still want to open it? Close it and take the moment back. Or carry on — calmly, on purpose. Either way, you decided. That's the whole idea. Not a wall you'll climb over by Tuesday, but a doorway you notice again. Most autopilot opens don't survive a single breath. HOW IT WORKS Wait! gets in front of your apps through Apple's own Shortcuts app: one small personal automation per app, set up once with Wait!'s picture-by-picture guide. Websites are covered by the Wait! extension for Safari. Prefer a firmer hand? A delayed guard gives an app a few minutes, then closes over it until you take a breath again. Nothing runs in the background, and nothing watches what you do. WHAT WAIT! KEEPS FOR YOU • Opens that stayed shut, counted — so you can watch the autopilot fade • Time saved: a plain 12 minutes for every open that didn't happen • Your guarded apps and sites in one place, ready to hand you back afterwards WAIT! PRO • Unlimited apps and websites. The free plan takes one of each, for as long as you like. • Push-ups instead of a breath: a set counted by your camera, or minutes earned one rep at a time • A task of its own for each app — a breath for Messages, push-ups for TikTok • Switching back: leave an app for a moment and come straight back without a new pause • Block adult content: Apple's Screen Time filter in every browser, with a five-week challenge that tapers you off, a complete block with no way through, and a streak of days without • The lock: someone you trust sets a six-digit code, and nothing in Wait! gets easier without it • Every new feature, the day it lands NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no ads, no analytics, no server. Wait! has no code for talking to the internet — your guarded apps, your figures and your settings stay on your iPhone. The camera counts push-ups on the device and records nothing. Wait! Pro comes monthly, yearly or as a single lifetime purchase, with family plans for up to six people through Family Sharing. Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial and then renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings; Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
