Plan your fishing trips around the moon. Lunker predicts feeding windows using solunar theory, moon phases, and solar timing. Includes Apple Watch.
Lunker tells you when the fish will bite.
Using solunar theory — the proven method developed by John Alden Knight in 1926 — Lunker calculates daily feeding periods based on the moon's position relative to where you fish. Combine that with moon phase, lunar distance, and golden hour data and you get a complete picture of every day on the water.
SOLUNAR PERIODS
Major and minor feeding windows for today and tomorrow. Every period is scored 0–100 based on period type, lunar quality, and whether it falls near sunrise or sunset — so you know exactly which window to prioritise. Each day is rated 1–100 so you can plan trips weeks in advance.
MOON
Moonrise and moonset times, lunar transit, anti-transit, moon phase, illumination percentage, and lunar distance — all calculated for your exact location. Upcoming eclipses with countdown timers included.
SUN
Sunrise, sunset, golden hour, blue hour, and a full solar elevation arc. Know when the light is low, the glare is gone, and fish are less wary.
CALENDAR
See the whole month at a glance. Best days are highlighted so you can book your fishing trips in advance.
CATCH LOG
Log every fish you land with species, weight, length, photo, and the solunar score at the time of the catch. Build a personal record of your best days on the water.
NOTIFICATIONS
Get notified 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour before a solunar feeding period begins. Works for both major and minor periods.
WIDGET & WATCH
A home screen and lock screen widget showing the next feeding period and solunar score — always at a glance. Apple Watch app and complications included.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
