Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration at the same price as the initial period chosen. You can cancel the automatic renewal of your MEGA subscription no later than 24 hours before your next subscription payment is due, via your Apple account settings page.

App permissions (optional):
Contacts: MEGA accesses your contacts so you can add them from your device.
Microphone: MEGA accesses your microphone when you capture a video, make a call or record voice messages inside the app.
Camera: MEGA accesses your camera when you capture a video or photo or make a call inside the app.
Face ID: MEGA accesses Face ID to allow you to easily unlock the app's passcode when you enable this option.
Local network: MEGA accesses your local network so you can place and receive calls through devices that are on the same Wi-Fi or other local network.

I’m honestly really disappointed with MEGA. I used it to store important files and was under the impression that even if I exceeded the storage limit, my existing files would remain safe as long as I didn’t upload anything new. Instead, my account was locked and my data started getting deleted.There was no clear, upfront warning that files would actually be removed just that I needed to upgrade. Losing stored content like this feels unfair, especially when users are not trying to abuse the system but simply keep what they already uploaded.At the very least, there should be a better system in place, such as preventing uploads while preserving existing files, or clearer communication before any deletion happens. This experience has made it hard to trust the platform with important data.

Glitching for no reason

My Mega used to be working smoothly until one day, it just stopped. I couldn’t add stuff to my photos, so I started using download option. Them that stopped working so I had to add stuff to folders, and even that stopped. Then when I tried to open it just now, it said I didn’t have enough space to open. Even though I bought space

New “Upload only new photos” option: when turned on, this setting backs up only photos taken from that point onwards.
