BurleighFlow is a local-first budgeting tool built for people whose income does not arrive on a predictable schedule.
Freelancers, contractors, creators, consultants, small business owners, and independent professionals often have strong months and quiet months. BurleighFlow helps turn those uneven cash-flow patterns into a calmer monthly release plan.
Use the income pool to record incoming money, set a virtual monthly salary, protect a safety line, and decide how much can be released for the month. The app compares real income against the chosen monthly target, highlights gaps and surplus months, and gives practical actions such as lowering a one-month target, covering a shortfall from the pool, postponing a release, or locking income that should not be used right away.
BurleighFlow also includes a local journal for income, releases, expenses, and held funds. Built-in charts show actual income versus the virtual salary, estimated pool purpose mix, and monthly gap or surplus trends.
The Pool Desk brings key release decisions into one place, while Flex Budgets help pause non-essential monthly items during low-income periods without deleting the plan. Runway Lab lets users test a slow-month scenario, estimate coverage, and save expected income as locked local income when needed.
