WIFI機器の速度が測れる

インターネット回線の速度だけでなく、ルーターと端末間での速度がどれ位か測ることが出来ます。また、端末を持って部屋を歩くと、WIFI電波のスイートスポットがどこにあるのか、金属探知機のように音声で教えてくれます。とても便利なのですが、日本国内に計測用サーバーが無く、中国が最寄りな点が惜しいです。履歴の保存機能があるとなお良かった。

動作には問題ないが、セキュリティ上の脅威となりうるので強く非推奨。1. 位置情報付きでwifi APの情報を集める事は公衆wifiに限れば有用だが、プライベートAPを排除する事は不可能。2. Smartifiと言う高度な管理機能があるが、特定WiFi routerに限られている。と言う事は802.11a/b/g/n/acの標準機能では無く、それらのルーター独自機能を使っている事になる。本来端末側から許されるとは思えない機能を実現しているので、該当ルーターのセキュリティホールを利用しているのではないかと言う疑問が否定できない。
