Bad key mapping

I’m using the 8BitDo micro as a macro pad. It almost works well, but key combinations don’t behave as expected. For instance, when I try to set “:w”, pressing Shift ; w results in “:W”. It seems like the Shift key is being applied to all subsequent keys. Another example is setting “(”, which results in “|(”, likely due to the same Shift key issue.

Be warned if you were trying to get an 8bitdo Micro to have macro / button remapping capability: Hardware doesn't have it. Only keyboard mode input is customizable. It just outright tells you to move out of S / D into K. I prob should've read the packaging better. The limitation was written in the manual.

8BitDo microKey combos設定で2つや3つのキーを入力するコマンド(Ctrl+Cなど)を設定すると、Nullが追加されて意図したキー設定にならない。If you set a command that requires input of 2 or 3 keys (such as Ctrl+C) in the key combo settings, Null will be added and the intended key settings will not be set.

ボタンマッピングを変更したら、全く違う内容に書き換えられた。スティックの上下左右が入れ替わったり、XとBが入れ替わったり、Yを押すとABXYの全てが入力されたり…。最悪です。

1. Fixed an issue with Pro 2 Bluetooth Controller connection. 2. Fixed an issue where vibration effects on the Pro 2 Wired Controller for Xbox and the Ultimate Wired Controller for Xbox did not match in-game effects.
