Boxscore9 is now completely ad-free. • No more ads. The ad software has been removed from the app entirely: no banners, no tracking prompt, and no network connections of the app's own. Your scorecards never leave your device. • Pro is now a way to support the developer, with access to future Pro features as they arrive. Everything in the free version stays free. If you already own Pro, thank you! Your purchase carries forward. • Cleaner scorecard grid: the hit or walk code (1B, 2B, BB…) now sits in the corner of each cell instead of along the base path, so it doesn't crowd your baserunning marks. Home runs get an "HR" label too. • Pick Off (PO) is now listed in the scoring reference. • Behind-the-scenes cleanup to keep your saved scorecards safe in future updates.

Version 1.2 brings full roster management and real-world substitution handling. • Roster management — tap any player to edit them, set a roster status (Available, Injured List, Day-to-Day, and the rest), or change their position. Lineups and substitutions offer your Available players first; everyone else is one tap away. • A substitute can now enter at a different fielding position than the player they replace. The position shows in the substitution history and can be changed later. • Double switches and defensive shuffles — after bringing in a substitute at a new spot, move the displaced fielder in Realign Defense. • Lost-DH support — send the designated hitter onto the field, then record the pitcher (or a bench batter) taking over the vacated batting slot. Field Positions and the box score note "DH forfeited." • Fixed a PDF export crash when one batting slot took two substitutions in a single inning. • Fixed same-inning substitutions sometimes resolving in a different order on the field diagram, box score, and PDF. • Fixed free-tier banner ads that weren't displaying.

New - A live ball-and-strike count in the score box, with pitch count tracked separately. - Freehand drawings now show inside the scorecard grid cell, not just in the entry view. - First-run hints on the Score Cards and Teams tabs to help you get started. Fixed - You can now delete a team — swipe left on it in the Teams tab. - The extra-innings automatic runner is scored correctly as an extra-innings runner. - Freehand ink is saved as you draw, so strokes are no longer lost if the app closes mid-game. - The ad-consent prompt now runs reliably when the app launches.
