This is BrowserKit's biggest update since launch. FLOATING PAGE CONTROLS A small compass icon now appears on every webpage. Tap it to toggle per-site controls without leaving the page: • Dark mode — inverts colour on sites that don't support it • Focus mode — hides YouTube recommendations, Twitter trends, Reddit sidebars, and LinkedIn clutter • Video speed — slow down or speed up any video with − and + buttons • Remove sticky headers — unsticks navigation bars so you get the full screen back • Block autoplay — pauses videos and audio the moment they load • Restore copy & right-click — re-enables text selection on sites that block it • Block notification prompts — auto-denies permission requests before they appear Settings are saved per site, so your preferences carry over every visit. NEW SETTINGS TAB Every feature now has a dedicated on/off toggle with a plain-English explanation of what it does. Turn off the floating button, disable iCloud sync, control privacy tools individually — all in one place, no hunting required. PRIVACY TOOLS Three silent background tools run on every page: • Tracking link cleaner — removes ?utm_source=, fbclid=, and other ad tags from URLs • Force secure connections — upgrades http:// to https:// automatically • Referrer suppression — hides which page sent you to a site BLOCKING STATS & WIDGETS See how many pages BrowserKit has protected today, this session, and all time. Add a home screen or lock screen widget to keep the count visible at a glance. SIRI SHORTCUTS & FOCUS FILTER Ask Siri to "Update BrowserKit filters" or "Block a site." Connect BrowserKit to any Focus mode in Settings — the distraction blocker activates automatically when Work or Study mode turns on. REDIRECT RULES Navigate to Google Maps and BrowserKit opens Apple Maps instead. Turn on the Reddit redirect to always get the classic layout. Add your own domain redirects in Settings → URL Redirects. DISTRACTION BLOCKER Add any domain to Blocked Sites in Settings and Safari will refuse to load it. Useful for social media during focus hours. One tap to unblock.
