ClearCaps turns conversations into live captions right on your iPhone, knowing who's speaking. Built for people with hearing loss and anyone who needs to capture meetings, doctor visits, or lectures without relying on the cloud.
WHY CLEARCAPS
· Works offline. After the first download, everything runs on your iPhone's chip. Audio and transcripts never leave the device.
· Identifies speakers. Detects who's talking and colors them differently. Rename "Speaker 1" to "Dr. Rodriguez" or "Mom" and it sticks across the whole session.
· Built for hearing loss. Large text, high contrast, minimal latency. Haptic feedback when someone asks you a direct question.
· Optional live translation. 10+ languages, fully on-device via Apple's Translation framework.
BUILT-IN AI ASSISTANT
· Auto-summary of the whole conversation
· Transcript cleanup (removes filler words and errors)
· AI speaker identification (deduces names from dialog context)

· ~700 MB initial download; ~2 GB extra if you enable the AI assistant

ClearCaps is NOT a medical device, NOT a hearing aid, and does NOT replace a professional audiological evaluation. It's a complementary accessibility tool. Transcription accuracy depends on environment and audio quality.
