Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Bait and Switch

UPDATE:
In addition to all else
I found that the software secretly followed a few BS accounts on my behalf.

Spyware

Starts out as an amazing app

Basic features like "when to post" all free with a few paid features which you didn't really need

Recent update takes all the great basics and makes them paid features on a subscription service

NOT WORTH THE DOWNLOAD

In regards to the accounts the app followed: when authenticating your account, there is a switch at the bottom which you can disable to not follow our accounts.
