DumpWatch has a new look: a refreshed dark design across every screen. Your sites, activity, evidence packets and settings work exactly as before - no features were added, changed or removed.

A camera that Ring has discovered but that you have not set up yet is now shown as exactly that, with a one-tap way to finish setting it up. Until now it appeared in your list as a working site, so it looked like it was watching when nothing had been configured and no motion would ever be reported. Discovered cameras now carry their real Ring name instead of a placeholder, and setting one up no longer leaves a duplicate entry behind.

Activity entries now say what actually happened. Motion where nothing was dumped is no longer labelled a disposal, and an event where the camera images could not be retrieved now says so instead of appearing as a completed check. Quiet hours now follow your site's own time zone. A confirmed dump stays confirmed even when its alert cannot be delivered, and the entry tells you when that happened.

Your sites and activity now refresh on their own while the app is open, instead of only when you reopen the screen. Changing or attaching a camera asks only for the camera: the site keeps the name and quiet hours it already has. Attaching a camera to an existing site now asks you to confirm it is a wired camera.

• Enabling notifications now works. The previous build asked a service we no longer use for a device token and failed with a validation error; DumpWatch now registers the device directly with Apple's push service. • Notifications about a confirmed incident are delivered to the phone itself, not only by email.

• Opening DumpWatch from the Ring app now signs you in on Android. The hand-off could previously lose your session and ask for your email again. • After linking, you now choose where to continue: this phone, or the web dashboard on a big screen. • Fixed the launch screen briefly showing the wrong logo. • Staying signed in now works per device, so using the web dashboard no longer signs you out of the app.

Updated App Store screenshots — they now show the actual app: your sites, the activity feed with a confirmed dump, the before/after evidence view with the exportable PDF, and the alert and privacy settings. No functional changes in this build.

Fixes for people who just linked their Ring account: • Opening DumpWatch right after linking now signs you in automatically. It no longer asks for an email code you had already gone past. • "Add a site" now explains why no cameras are listed — whether your Ring link needs renewing, Ring is temporarily unreachable, or the account simply has no cameras yet — and gives you a way forward instead of an empty list.
