GeneLife 3.0 is a dedicated application for individuals who want to explore their DNA and improve their health and wellness after undertaking a genetic test from GeneLife.
GeneLife offers a range of Genetic Test Kits that give you explanations about your Constitution (such as metabolism, diet type, nutrition, fitness, personality traits...) and your potential disease risks based on your DNA.
With the GeneLife 3.0 application, go beyond your genetics results and embrace your DNA journey!
GeneLife 3.0 goes beyond displaying your genetic results, you will be able to receive some personalized advice and recommendations based on your genetic makeup and track your nutrition and fitness via our coaching interface. Adopt a healthier lifestyle that fits you and evolve towards personalized wellness!
GeneLife 3.0 enables you to:
- access and review the results of your genetic test
- receive regular updates and recommendations from our GeneLife Chatbot
- track your nutrition, activity, and sleep and see your progress
- contribute to the research by participating in surveys and get rewarded
- discover fun facts and learn more about your genes in our news feed
- enroll in the GeneLife Reward Program to receive offers and/or rewards for participating in activities as part of the membership to the GeneLife services. The GeneLife Reward Program allows you to collect GeneLife points by answering surveys and questionnaires on a range of health and lifestyle topics.
Note
This application is only available to users who have purchased a GeneLife testing kit (including GeneLife Genesis2.0, GeneLife Myself2.0, GeneLife Diet, GeneLife Sports, GeneLife Skin).
GeneLife services are available to users above 18 years, some kits are available to users below 18 years old with parental consent.
Integration with the Health app
This app has a section to connects to the iOS Health app after login for the following purposes. If you do not cooperate, it may not work correctly.
- Automatically reflect the number of steps in the Health app and calculate calories burned

ハプロ、ジェネシス、マイセルフ
ジェネシス、ハプロは満足。
マイセルフはこんなもんかー。って感じで追加課金する必要もないかなと。
ジェネシスと被ってるし、質問に回答してする判断なら、他にもたくさんあるし、強み探したいならとかならストレングスファインダーとかの方がいいかも。
ハプロの結果、、日本人だからか民族が3つしか入ってなくて、つまらないなぁとは感じました。
生物学的により多様性に富んだ種を残すという観点では、もっと遺伝的特徴が遠い人と交雑していく方向で検討した方が良いと感じた。
そこでジーンライフさんに提案ですが、
遺伝的特徴を元にマッチングさせるマッチングアプリを作ってはいかがでしょうか。
より遺伝的特徴が遠い人をマッチングさせるというモノです。
世界の裏側の人ともDNAで繋げる。
そんなマッチングアプリ、ぜひ登録してみたいモノです！

栄養記録のページに難あり
・栄養記録タブ
栄養素を記録しましたが、炭水化物だけゼロになります。バグ修正をお願いします。また、一度記録して一部にミスがあった時に修正できず、いちいち削除→再登録をしないといけないのが面倒でした。こちらも改善して欲しいです。現状はあまり使い勝手がいいとは思えず、使ってるユーザー向け少なそうなことを踏まえると、いっそ違うタブにしても良いのかも。。
・遺伝子解析結果タブ
Genesis 2.0の診断を受けましたが、結果一覧がアイコンで項目ごとに分かれてますが、Myselfのように一覧の表示で見れるような切り替えがあるともっと見やすくて嬉しい
・ホームタブ
2023年12月からアップデートがなく悲しい。。。
自分の遺伝子解析結果をアプリで確認できるのはとても良いコンセプトなので、これからも定期的な改善があると嬉しいです。

普段からmy coachのパーソナルアドバイスを参考にさせていただいてます。
とても良いアプリだと思うのですが、一点だけ改善していただきたいところがございます。
私は普段Apple Watchを身につけていて、自転車やウォーキング、ランニングなどの記録と睡眠時間の記録をしています。
このデータをヘルスケアアプリと紐づけてmy coachの活動記録にも反映しているのですが、歩数しか反映されていないのがもったいない気がします。
それ以外の記録は手で入力しなければならず、煩わしくて続けられません。
全ての運動や消費カロリー、睡眠時間などの記録を自動で反映できるようにしていただけないでしょうか。
