Mint mobile is easy to download and start a contract for international students needing a U.S. phone number. Although the 4GB is a small amount for those who don't use wifi daily life, for college students staying mainly on campus, it's enough amount of data size.
Turn auto renew off!
iPhhhhhhh
I paid Mint for the time I was in America and it wasn't clear to me at any moment that I was consenting to have my plan automatically renewed later. The service was good, I had no issues with it, but I wasn't happy that after I returned home, I got an email saying they charged my account. Not only did I not consent to auto renew, but it took a really long time to find out how to turn it off: you can find it in settings > payment method. I also deleted my payment method just in case.Turn it off, don't get charged by surprise!
