I'm looking for a good audio player for teaching.Quicktime Pro 7 used to be perfect because we could use the I and O keys to set In and Out points to easily replay parts of the audio and video that the students needed. However, this function doesnt exist in Quicktime X, making life very difficult for me. This player doesnt have that feature either, but the sound wave helps me do it visually, which is better than nothing. Being able to zoom in on the wave is nice too, but unfortunately I cannot scrool the wave timeline. I have to stretch the player across the screen. It's very easy to open files and the interface is pleasent and easy to to find things, yet sometimes response is a little slow. In other words, I think this player has great potential but at this stage is still a bit rough around the edges. For a free app, no complaints. If it had the In and Out feature in the Pro version, I would have purchased it.
This update brings many improvements based directly on your feedback. Thank you for testing, reporting, and suggesting!
+ Improved audio processing for different sample rates
+ Fixed loop issue (playback no longer stops at the end)
+ Fixed incorrect playback speed & pitch issues with 48 or 96 kHz files
+ Mono files now play correctly
