Permission Disclosure
To provide air quality monitoring and device management functionality, Air Monitor Pro may request certain permissions on your iOS device. Permissions are accessed only when required for specific features.
You may choose whether to grant these permissions. However, denying essential permissions may limit core features such as device pairing, real-time monitoring, or data synchronization.
Key permission purposes include:
• Bluetooth Access
Used to connect with your Air Monitor Pro devices and receive real-time air quality sensor data. Bluetooth access is essential for device pairing and continuous monitoring.
• Location Access
Required by iOS for Bluetooth device scanning, and optionally used to tag air quality readings with your location. Location data is only used for device discovery and measurement tagging, and is not tracked for other purposes.
• Camera & Photo Library Access
Allows you to capture or select images to personalize device display backgrounds. All photos are stored locally on your device only and are not uploaded to external servers.
• Local Network Access Required to configure Wi-Fi settings on your Air Monitor Pro devices during initial setup.
• Background Operation
Enables continuous air quality monitoring and real-time notifications, even when the app is not in the foreground.
You can review or revoke permissions at any time in your device's Settings > Air Monitor Pro. Please note that disabling critical permissions (especially Bluetooth) may affect normal operation of the app.
