Hello,I am a half-Japanese person who is currently living in Japan, and unfortunately, I am unable to speak Japanese, and one of my main goals as of now is to learn Japanese to be able to communicate with Japanese people.Traditional Japanese learning involves just reading kanji and writing them again and again with being told the readings just a few times, reading about example sentences without being told the grammatical structure of the sentence, and just flipping through random words in Japanese in textbooks. In this position, it is very difficult to learn Japanese. However, this app, along with the Sensei app, has all of the necessary features (such as the AI-powered quiz), which for me, is much easier than learning Japanese via the way I mentioned earlier. I've yet to memorize any grammatical rules through the Sensei app and any vocabulary from this app, but I've already memorized 5 kanji in this app, and for me, this is a very big achievement, especially considering the fact that I've memorized them so easily and so quickly with this app.This is an amazing tool that you've made, I really cannot thank you enough!Sincerely,Someone who's learning Japanese.

Love the app in general. It’s great to be able to review flashcards quickly and I can few myself learning!When editing the quiz scope, it would be amazing to see which kanji and vocab I already have, such that I don’t have to guess which new ones to add. For example, if I already added all the JLPT5 cards, highlight it in the kanji filters screen when choosing new cards to add. There are also a few spelling mistakes in the English words, so if I type a word correctly, the app will think I got it wrong. Also some of the Japanese pronunciation is wrong and the voice is really robotic. Would be nice to either have some recordings of native speakers or a better digital voice.
SCAM — Billing Without Consent, No Support, No Refunds

This app has been charging me $19 USD every month without my consent, even after I requested cancellation. I’ve reached out multiple times — no response, no refund, and no way to stop the charges through their support. This is absolutely unacceptable. It feels like a scam.DO NOT download this app unless you want to be stuck in a subscription trap with zero customer support. I’ve reported this issue to Apple and will continue to escalate until it’s resolved. Beware — they take your money and disappear.Only leaving 5 stars for people to see this.
