__INSPECTOR__
* The Inspector interface has been completely redesigned. All panels now have visual groupings and compact property lists.
* The Basics panel now displays position and size for selected graphic objects.
* The Image Layer panel features a new image filter picker UI.
* The Calendar panel has been split into multiple sub-panels for improved clarity.
* The Gradient inspector panel features a cleaner layout and a new “Swap Colors” button.
* Inspector panels such as PassepartoutFrame, Metadata, and the newly split Calendar panel have all been modernized.
* PDF files can now be dragged directly onto the PDF layer’s File property.
* Pattern files can be dropped onto the Pattern layer in the inspector. The Pattern layer now correctly handles legacy scaling factors.
* A new Polka-Dot background mode includes options to shuffle dot positions, radius, and color, with a built-in color palette for customization.
* The calendar object has an improved region and script picker (macOS 13+).
* The document’s color schemes can now apply a random color from a palette to text boxes with colored backgrounds.
* Number input fields now support keyboard input, arrow key navigation, and stepper controls — depending a bit on your macOS version.
__INLINE INSPECTOR__
* The new Inline Inspector appears right next to the selected object for fast, contextual editing.
* It displays primary content (e.g., text captions) and supports navigating into sub-panels of complex objects. A sub-panel indicator icon shows when additional options are available.
* The Inline Inspector can be shown or hidden via the View menu.
__MATERIAL SIDEBAR__
* A brand-new Material Sidebar lets you drag and drop styles directly onto the document.
* Decoration styles have been reworked and now live in the Material Sidebar. The old “Add Decoration” toolbar item has been removed in favor of the sidebar workflow.
* You can use Command–1 through Command–4 to switch tabs in the Material Sidebar, or choose from the View > Material Sidebar menu.
__NEW TEMPLATES, STYLES, AND LAYERS__
* Added templates: “Red Alert”, “Photo Corner”, “Lab Work”, “Hatching”, and “Taipei”.
* New frame style: “Rounded – Plain”.
* New background style: “Stripes & Bubbles”.
* New Hatching layer adds stylized crosshatch patterns to your layout.
* The Notes layer can be attached to any graphic object to hold non-visible annotations or internal notes.
__CHANGES__
* The Auto-Crop “Custom” state now governs fine-tuning options. Selecting “Keep Face in Frame” no longer switches the mode to “Custom.”
* The template picker UI now displays more compact page details.
* New “Show Sidebar” / “Hide Sidebar” commands (Command–Control–S) toggle the Media Browser Sidebar.
* Posterino now includes a basic crash reporting and feedback system to assist in diagnosing issues.
* Trying to apply a style to a locked object now shows a helpful error message.
__FIXES__
* Template resources like images now load properly when Posterino is used in non-English languages.
* The Pattern layer now correctly migrates older scaling values.
* When restoring the default paper size in the template picker, the custom setting is correctly removed.
* Choosing a paper size preset now overrides all related document properties.
* Fixed a crash that could occur when layout DNA couldn't be copied during execution.
* Pattern files are now handled more accurately by the Pattern layer.
