We've made improvements to how 1Password interacts in form fields in the upcoming releases of Safari.

You now see a welcome prompt to install the 1Password browser extension when you join a business account with single sign-on.

When you select a password from the inline password generator, it now autofills properly. We've fixed an issue where you'd briefly see the "Migrate your data" prompt when you weren't a new user. We've fixed an issue in Save in 1Password > New Item where you'd see a delay when you typed into a field. The Autofill setting “Offer to fill and save passwords” has been updated to “Offer to save and fill logins and other items”. We’ve fixed an issue where you’d see a keyboard input delay when saving a new item with the browser extension. We’ve fixed an issue where using “Open and Fill” in the app could cause websites to reload repeatedly. Login suggestions now work correctly on the Simplii login page.

We’ve fixed an issue in Save in 1Password > New Item where you’d see a delay when you typed into a field.

If you have an account with less than 7 items, you now see a page with a “Migrate your data” button. In the 1Password extension, you can now select the Menu icon > Need Help? to find additional resources, like tutorial videos, the community forum, and latest releases.

We've added default expiry alerts based on the category of an item. Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin. You now see a "Save login" notification when your browser extension is locked. You no longer see a prompt to save an Identity item if there's only one identity field on the site (for example, ZIP code field). We've fixed an issue where the browser extension would lock after 4 hours regardless of the time set under the "Lock after system is idle for" setting. We've fixed an issue where the get started tutorials weren't displayed properly in Firefox.

Auto-lock policies now apply to 1Password browser extensions that aren't integrated with 1Password desktop apps. If you have "Offer to save one-time passwords automatically" turned on in Settings and 1Password detects a one-time password QR code while it is locked, it will now prompt you to unlock 1Password and automatically save the code.
