If you are looking for a new storage medium, you will quickly find surprisingly good offers on well known websites. However, these storage media are often devices that offer significantly less storage space than specified by the manufacturer.
This is achieved by changing the firmware, which causes the operating system to assume that, for example, two terabytes are available - but in reality only 32 GB can be written.
Drive Capacity Tester can verify the manufacturer's specified size of USB sticks and SD cards. Counterfeit storage media can be found quickly.

I ran this on a 51gb SSD, the interface is simple, but sufficient, however after an hour of writing data to the disk, the app just crashed and never started to read the data back, making it completely useless.
