Read a verse. Name where it's written.
Every question is a verse from the King James Bible with four references to choose from. Do you know whether it's Proverbs or Psalms? Romans or Hebrews? Which chapter of John? It's a fun way to learn where things are in the Bible, and to remember them.
THREE LEVELS
• Easy: the four references come from anywhere in the Bible
• Medium: four different books from the same testament
• Hard: four verses from the same book, so you need to know your chapters
PLAY YOUR WAY
• Old Testament, New Testament, or both
• Games of 5, 10, 20 or 50 questions
• Relaxed play, or a timer of 5 to 30 seconds per question
• Missed it? Keep trying until you find the right reference
SCORING
• 10 points for a first-try answer, 5 for the second, 2 for the third
• In timed games, quick answers earn up to 5 bonus points
• Finish with a biblical rank, from Young Timothy to Scribe
• Share your score and challenge friends and family
LEARN AS YOU PLAY
• After every answer, read the whole chapter the verse comes from
• Verses are drawn from all 66 books and 31,000+ verses of the King James Bible, so every game is different
• Statistics show your accuracy book by book, so you know your strongest books and the ones to study
• Track your best score, accuracy and daily streak
MADE FOR EVERYONE
• Great for personal study, Bible memory, Sunday school, youth groups and family game night
• Works fully offline
• No ads, no account, no subscriptions
• Designed for iPhone and iPad
Our goal at Thy Word is True is to help strengthen your faith in God's word. "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee" (Psalms 119:11).
