Good app for walking

This app is what I was looking for walking.I appreciate all who have put many nice routes. When I use recording function, the app draws battery a lot. Starting with 100% charge, it went down to 25% at the end of a route. If this is improved, it would be even better. Note that you can still trace where you are on a route without using recording function.

Please be careful with this application. They use very shady business practices to trick users into paid memberships. They offer a one-week free trial for the yearly plan and promise to notify you before the trial ends — but they don’t. They rely on people forgetting about it, so they can charge the full yearly fee. It’s a very common rip-off technique used by AllTrails, and many people have fallen into this trap. I am in contact with Apple to bring this to light.

Please be careful with this application. They use very shady business practices to trick users into paid memberships. They offer a one-week free trial for the yearly plan and promise to notify you before the trial ends — but they don’t. They rely on people forgetting about it, so they can charge the full yearly fee. It’s a very common rip-off technique used by AllTrails, and many people have fallen into this trap. I am in contact with Apple to bring this to light.

It’s frustrating that two weeks after I subscribed to AllTrails Plus after an extensive research for hiking apps, they launched a new more expensive tier where previously available Plus features were moved into, and it’s priced at ¥7,000/year. The app itself is good but their subscription plans aren’t.
