annoying ads but paying subscriber

with their last version update a week ago, full page ads frequently pop up on my screen. i have to wait 5 seconds to turn it off. If this was free then i wouldn’t complain, but I having been a paying subscriber for a few months now and this is absolutely not acceptable. I am deeply disappointed and I will NOT be renewing my monthly subscription.
