LanScan is a simple and efficient IPv4 & IPv6 network scanner that discovers all active devices on any subnet: the local one, or any public subnet that you configure. IPv4 Features: → Auto-detection of configured interfaces: Airport, Ethernet, Virtual interfaces ... → Scan the IP range you like, from 1 IP to the whole IPv4 address space! → Scan your local network with ARP packets → Scan public IP network ranges with Ping / SMB / mDNS packets → Display the IP address, MAC address, hostname (4 max) and vendor associated → Discover the SMB domain if any configured → Hostname resolution: DNS, mDNS (Apple devices) and SMB (Windows devices) → Custom hostname edition → Custom comment for each device → Open custom URL in browser → Export results in CSV files → Hide/show each column → Align each column as you want → No limitation on the number of devices found ! IPv6 Features: → Displays Link-Local (private) and Global (public) IPv6 addresses. → Like IPv4, some features in free trial and full unobfuscation through an In-App Purchase → Go in Help → In-App purchases for more details Restrictions in free trial version compared to Pro In-App Purchase: → Some hostnames, comments, TCP ports or IPv6 addresses might be obfuscated in free trial → The free trial only obfuscate results, but display them all : if a column is blank or empty, buying a Pro In-App feature won't make any new result appear.

A worthy upgrade from LanScan Pro v5

I’ve been a LanScan Pro user for several years now. I reviewed v3 with 4 stars and noted that it would be perfect with the addition of port scanning. LanScan v6 brings port scanning to the game and its implementation is nicely done. You can select one or more hosts, open the details tab, configure your scan and — BOOM — see all the ports open on the selected hosts.I am absolutely delighted. This brings a much wanted feature to LanScan that is far more useful in real life than the port scanning feature in Network Utility. I’ve been a happy LanScan Pro user for years. I’m going to be even happier with LanScan as of v6. This is an essential tool in any IT engineer’s toolbox.UPDATE: With v6.1 comes the ability to save custom scan ranges. This app just became even better. I do onsite support and have to work on any number of network ranges. A great app just became pretty much perfect.

This is a utility I have been looking for since doubling up OS with Linux (Angry IP Scanner). LanScan does the job very well and clearly. One-Click is all it needs to show all connected devices on the local network.

フォントの大きさが変更出来ず、とても小さくて読みづらいです。IP Scanner 6.1だとフォントの大きさをカスタマイズ出来るので、大きさや種類の変更が出来ることを期待しましたが、非常に見づらくて、とても残念です。
