I had a nearly 30-day trip in Vietnam and suddenly found myself unable to connect to the internet. It happened without warning. When I contacted customer support, they first walked me through a set of standard troubleshooting steps — the kind you’d find in a basic Q&A guide. After confirming that none of those worked, they finally checked their servers and informed me that they were experiencing technical issues. From that point on, the only thing I could do was wait for them to fix it — and no one could tell me how long that would take.Trust me, you don’t want to face this kind of situation in any country.

The app itself is convenient and easy to use. And the eSIM works ok. Sadly they push 250mb each day of carrier updates that eats up your data quickly. It's not possible to disable it unfortunately, so consider it when purchasing data plans. Heads up if you go to Taiwan: the data is actually routed via Hong Kong and many services and apps say "not available in your region". Overall it works but it feels sketchy.

I used Saily a year ago when coming back to the UK and it was perfect. Got fast data for the month I was back. This time, the data reception has been sketchy at best, and the eSIM is no longer named Saily, but (perhaps 3rd party?) called“Webbing”. It doesnt seem to provide the same good service: I rarely get 5G and get pushed onto LTE which is sluggish. Basically not getting the performance I had when I first used the app and probably won’t use it again next time I travel. Disappointed.
