Resizing is getting a lift with this version, and you can now resize items from all four corners, rather than just its edges. Highlights and resizing precision is getting a lick of paint as well. Also, items can now be resized inside of Stacks. Click a Stack to open it first, then you can resize it.

Spatial now has support for importing saved Pins from your Pinterest account. Right-click any empty space and select "Pins". Sadly, Pinterest doesn't send video to apps through the Api. That means any animation or motion design you've saved as a pin - you'll only get the cover image.

Spatial's now got full semantic search, across all your images, videos and notes, powered by vision machine learning models and a MiniLM model. Completely on device so it's network and token-free. It's completely private and very, very fast. Also, notes now support numbered lists, dividers, tables (non editable) and images. There's also been work done to make the canvas feel a lot smoother when flying around and zooming in and out.

Spatial finally supports numbered lists, I know, but better late than never. For Pro users, there's also a new option to enable cross-device syncing using iCloud.

This version fixes an issue for people writing in Chinese and updates the MCP server to support more video formats like .webm, .webp, .gif and .mov.

Introducing the Spatial local MCP server. If you don't know what that is, it means you can connect Spatial to your favorite AI tool, so that Claude/ChatGPT can read your boards and create notes for you. Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Codex through the terminal (CLI) are supported for now. You can set this up through the in-app preference panel.

The markdown parser has been almost completely rewritten from the ground up, for more stable output and more flexible input. Along with that, the app now supports code blocks for the most common languages including swift, typescript, javascript, json, html, css and bash.
