OpenTV: TV & Movie Tracker
エンターテインメント
無料 · アプリ内購入 · iPadに対応しています。macOSでは検証されていません。
OpenTV is a fast, private tracker for everything you watch.
Check off episodes as you watch them, keep a movie watchlist, rate with stars and emotions, and see your watching life in numbers — total hours, marathons, streaks, badges and more.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Your library lives in a database on your device. The tracker needs no account, no sign-in and no connection. No ads, ever. Free automatic backup to iCloud or Google Drive, and free sync between your devices through the same cloud. You can export your complete library anytime: if you ever leave, take everything with you. OpenTV is open source: github.com/mahmoodbashar08/opentv-app
SWITCHING FROM ANOTHER TRACKER?
Bring your whole history with you. OpenTV imports from TV Time, Trakt, Simkl, Letterboxd and IMDb. From the official TV Time data export (Settings → Privacy → Request my data) it restores your shows, full watch history, movies, watchlists, ratings, emotions, comments, favourites, profile photos and badges — all in minutes, on-device. Moving from another phone? Settings → Library walks you through it.
TRACK
• Episode-by-episode progress with season checklists
• Continue Tracking picks up exactly where you stopped
• Movie watchlist with filters and sorting
• Ratings and emotion reactions for episodes and movies
• Half stars for films, and a private note on any show, film or episode
• A yearly goal: how many films and episodes this year, filling up as you watch
DISCOVER
• Trending shows and movies, trailers, cast and where-to-watch
• Search your library and the whole catalogue in one place
• Guess the title: a new daily puzzle made from what you've watched
STATS
• Watch time, episodes per week, biggest marathons
• Genres, networks, badges and yearly charts
• Wrapped: any month or year in a handful of shareable cards
AN OPTIONAL COMMUNITY
Join only if you want to: comments, ratings, shared lists and profiles. Activity shows what the people you follow say, but only on episodes you've already seen. The community never sees your per-episode watch history.
OPENTV PLUS (OPTIONAL)
Tracking is free, with no ads. OpenTV Plus is an optional subscription that adds sync and backup through OpenTV's own server, Watch together, Live rooms, Smart reminders, profile themes and more.
OpenTV is in English, Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Turkish and Polish.
Show and movie data provided by TheTVDB and TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

さらに見る Ready for iPhone Duo. Closed or open on its side, OpenTV's tabs and its back, close and menu buttons move into the strip beside the clock, like Apple's own apps, and nothing sits under the strip or across the fold.
• Moving from Simkl now works: import the ZIP from simkl.com/apps/backup and every show, anime and film comes across with its dates.
• On a big screen your profile uses the whole width, with a bigger photo and a fuller Watching together.
• Comments you keep to yourself now have the same pencil button and full writing page as everyone else's.
• Prefer the old tab bar? Settings → General → Classic tab bar.
• A link to a show now opens properly even when OpenTV was closed.
2.0.2 11時間前
Sync your devices for free, through your own iCloud or Google Drive. The shows you add, the episodes you tick and your ratings travel between them.
• Guess the title: a daily puzzle made from the shows and films you've watched, so it can't spoil anything. A daily reminder if you want one, and a streak to keep.
• Explore → Activity: what the people you follow rated, felt and said, but only on episodes you've already seen.
• OpenTV now speaks German, Turkish and Polish. Nine languages in all.
• Half stars for films: tap for a whole star, slide for halves.
• Add a private note to any show, film or episode. Never shared or published.
• Compare with the people you follow, from Stats.
• An episode you haven't watched asks "Spoilers ahead!" before it shows its comments.
• Replies you brought over from TV Time now sit under the comment they answer.
• Plots in your language, Simkl sync, and two new Watch List sorts: newest first and random.
With Plus: Watch together, the Live room on the night an episode airs, Smart reminders, and a heads-up when something on your watchlist arrives on your streaming services.
2.0.0 4日前
• Sort your Watch List: by release date, oldest first, or by the show you're furthest behind on. Tap the new button next to the grid icon.
• Where to watch now says which services are included with a subscription, free, with ads, to rent or to buy.
• VoiceOver and TalkBack: every button and screen in the app now has a proper name, so OpenTV works with a screen reader.
• Signing up with email now finishes properly: after the code you join the community and choose your username. Signed up by email but have no username? Sign in again in Settings → You → Account.
• IMDb import now brings in your series and rated episodes too, not only movies.
• No more false "OpenTV Backup hasn't worked" warnings, and changes reach your other devices faster.
• Lists no longer show a series as a number.
1.7.2 10月16日

• Moving from another phone? Step-by-step help to bring your library over from an old iPhone or Android. Settings → Library
• iPad: posters and cards now use the whole width of the screen
• Plus: Your devices — see every phone and tablet on your account and remove one. Sync now also carries your profile's look: theme, layout, blocks, banner and goal
• Wrapped: pick any month or year with the calendar button
• Fixes: "Hide watched episodes" now stays on, the Tonight row can be closed, notices stay at the top of your profile, and Arabic layouts are corrected
1.7.0 10月13日
New in 1.6.8
• Profile templates (Plus): pick one of 12 ready-made looks — a banner, colours, a layout and blocks built around the kind of viewer you are — or one made from your own favourite shows and movies. Edit profile → Profile templates.
• Seasonal decorations: dress your picture up for Halloween, the Day of the Dead, Christmas and more. Free while the season is on; with Plus, every part is yours to change and keep.
• New app icons (Plus), Halloween and Christmas included. Settings → Appearance.
• Twelve new banners drawn for OpenTV, free for everyone: Edit profile → Choose cover photo → OpenTV. Halloween and Christmas templates, too.
• Arrange your profile your way (Plus): tap any block to change its style or size, or swap it for another.
• Message the developer: a bug, an idea, something missing — Settings → Message the developer.
• A smoother start: no iCloud step first, bring your history from TV Time, Trakt, Simkl, Letterboxd or IMDb, add a photo, and tell us where you are in each show.
• OpenTV Backup and Sync are more reliable, and Calendar has its own page in Settings.
1.6.8 10月12日
Got a code from a podcast or creator? Tap "Have a code?" on the OpenTV Plus screen to redeem it and get Plus at a discount.
1.6.7 10月8日
TV Time's comments are back.
• Every show, episode and film now has the TV Time comment archive and comments from other apps, through CommsUni.tv, in its own tab next to OpenTV's comments.
• Sort by most liked, newest or top, and filter by source and by language.
• Reply to any comment, with a spoiler warning or a GIF (Plus), and report anything that shouldn't be there.
• Translate any comment into your language with one tap.
Your profile, your way
• Use your own GIF or photo as a banner, then drag, zoom and resize it (Plus). The app takes its colours from your banner.
• Change your username in Edit profile.
• Your Wrapped month now ends with a one-card summary to share.
Fixes
• The app no longer freezes when you come back to it.
• Your profile updates within a minute while the app is open.
• Plus: Cloud Backup turns on by itself and keeps up with Sync.
1.6.6 10月7日
Wrapped, rebuilt from scratch. Your month is now up to fourteen cards: a cinema marquee with your hours, every title you watched on a film strip, your film of the month as a ticket stub with your rating, your top titles, your biggest day as a TV listing, when you watch, your night of the week, your star ratings, first and last, and your watching type. Each card only appears when your month has something for it, so a quiet month never shows zeros, and a month of films gets film types of its own. Wrapped is back in Settings, under Make it yours.
1.6.5 10月1日
OpenTV opens again on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27.
• Cloud backup without joining the community. Sign in with Apple, Google or email to keep a copy of your library off your phone — no public profile, no username, nothing published. If you're a Plus subscriber, your profile now tells you when cloud backup is off or not working.
• Import from IMDb, and from any tool that exports Letterboxd-format files, including JustWatch.
• Share cards in three shapes: Post (fits Instagram, Reddit and X without cropping), Story and Card. Plus a favorites grid and a "just watched" card.
• Film titles in English, even when your TV Time export had them in another script.
• Change your theme and it applies right away — no need to reopen the app.
• You now stay signed in: no more being quietly signed out after a week.
• Fixes: one tap opens one screen, the ⋯ menu always responds, swipe-down can't leave a screen stuck, a rating can be taken back, and an import can no longer stall on "Getting episode data".
1.6.4 9月29日
Your library, kept safe off your phone.
• Cloud backup — one copy of everything you've tracked, on our server or your own. A new phone finds it and picks up exactly where you left off.
• Your devices, kept level (Plus) — tick an episode on one and it's ticked on the other, including the things you take back.
• Your shows in your calendar (Plus) — upcoming episodes in the calendar you already check every morning.
• Ask Siri — what's next, mark it watched, have I seen this film.
• Ratings have a home now — a chart of how you rate, a grid worth posting, and a page of their own.
• A favourite character for every episode, the way it was always asked.
• Bring your history from Trakt and Simkl.
• Films answer to more than one name, so the title you know finds the film you mean.
Also fixed: a full iCloud no longer stops your backup without telling you, "13m" no longer reads as thirteen minutes when it means thirteen months, reminders can actually be turned off, and The Great is filed under G.
1.6.3 9月23日
Wrapped, redesigned — eight cards built from your own
posters, and a year that looks nothing like a month. Share
any card on its own.
All aired: the watch list now tells you whether the season
you are on has finished airing, with a filter to match.
The feelings calendar is now a profile block.
Jellyfin: connect your own server and tick off what you
watched there. Read-only, like Plex.
Plus: every share carries a link, films count towards
Wrapped's artwork, and a phone that lost its session no
longer looks signed in.
1.6.2 9月7日
Some films in your TV Time lists came through with no name — TV Time never
included those titles in your export. OpenTV can put them back now: open your
profile and tap the yellow bar.
Fixed a bug where backups quietly dropped those films, so a restored list came
back shorter than it was.
The popcorn game now plays smoothly while your library is updating, and there's
a snake to go with it. Tap the shuffle to swap.
1.6.1 9月2日
Light theme — light, dark, or follow your device. Free, in Settings.
Memories — "on this day" from your own history, plus a full archive
under the ••• menu.
Plex — connect your server and OpenTV picks up what you watched there.
It only ever reads.
Fixes: the interests poll now saves your answer, the artwork picker
loads much faster, the GIF picker lists every show, and startup repair
no longer runs on every launch.
1.6.0 8月31日
Shared lists — build a list with a friend, add to it together, tick things off.
OpenTV Plus — pictures and GIFs on your comments, a profile you arrange yourself, Deep Stats, themes and Wrapped.
Live translation of any comment into your language.
On this day — what you were watching a year ago, and five.
Import from Letterboxd.
Better search, and a long list of fixes.
1.5.0 8月30日
Searching a title together with its year now works — "Partner 2007" finds the film instead of returning nothing.
Profiles with a colour theme look considerably cleaner: the gradient behind the banner no longer goes muddy or shows bands, and the row under the banner sits flush against it.
1.4.2 8月18日
Wrapped
A recap of any month or any year — hours watched, the shows that took most of it, the day that stands out — as cards built for the places they end up. Every card shares on its own, so the one worth posting isn't buried behind the rest. A quiet month says so kindly instead of printing a wall of zeroes.
The cast is tappable
Tap anyone in a show's cast for their photograph, where they're from, a biography in your own language when there is one, and every series and film they're credited in — newest first, each one opening in the app.
Private accounts
Turn your profile private and new followers have to ask. Eight switches decide what a visitor sees — stats, activity, lists, favourites, shows, films, comments. The server withholds what you hide rather than trusting the app to hide it.
Filters that stay put
They used to reset every time you left the screen, so anyone who filters the same way daily re-did it daily. They persist now, and the pill says how many are on.
Your old TV Time friends
A screen of their own. Your friends list is checked against every new account, so they appear on their own as they arrive — there's nothing to come back and check.
Fixed
The posters and + buttons in "People also watched" did nothing at all — both work now. Photos in other people's comments appear. A show with many seasons no longer draws them on top of each other. Sign-up is easier to find on a phone that has never had an account.
1.4.0 8月14日
Fixes for the community added in 1.3.0.
• Your TV Time username is now claimed properly when you join with an email address — accounts stuck on a temporary name are corrected automatically
• Names written in Arabic and other alphabets no longer produce an unusable username
• The name on your profile is now shown to everyone, not only to you
• You can find people by their name as well as their username
1.3.1 8月13日
OpenTV now has an optional community.
• Create a profile and follow other people
• Comment on episodes, films and shows, and see what everyone else thought
• Rate episodes and vote for your favourite characters
• Publish your favourites and your lists to your profile
• Sign in with Apple, Google or email
None of this is required. The tracker works exactly as before if you
skip it, and your watch history stays on your phone either way.
Also fixed: missing episode synopses, and artwork can now be changed
on films as well as shows.
1.3.0 8月11日
Five new languages
OpenTV is now available in Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil), alongside English — 777 keys, hand-translated rather than machine-run, with the correct plural forms for each language (Arabic needs six). Arabic mirrors the entire layout right to left, not just the text.
Two films with the same title no longer fight each other
Adding one could silently tick the other as watched, and the second film could never be added at all — the database was treating them as a single entry. Each is now its own film.
Films from TheTVDB show their full details
A film matched through TheTVDB used to open to a blank screen. It now shows runtime, genres, release date and artwork like any other title.
A tap that does nothing now says why
Trying to add something the app can't yet identify used to be silent. It now tells you what's missing.
Arabic fixes found on a real phone
A round of layout and text corrections found by actually using the app in Arabic, not just reading the code.
1.2.1 8月7日
Anime seasons are right again
OpenTV now takes episode numbering from TheTVDB — the same database TV Time was built on, and the one your export uses. Detective Conan is 34 seasons again instead of a single list of 1,208 episodes, and your watches sit on the episodes you actually watched. Names, artwork, genres and cast come from there too, so anime finally gets real characters instead of voice actors.
Episodes you never watched are gone
TV Time's per-show counter is unreliable — on one library it claimed 84 watched episodes of a show its own records listed none for. OpenTV believed it and invented the rest. It now checks the counter against what the export actually lists and refuses to guess, so your episode count may drop. That drop is the fix.
Films match far better
Your export gives a film's title and nothing else, so "Superman" or "Ghostbusters" matched several real films and OpenTV gave up on all of them. The date you watched it now settles which one it is. Anything decided by inference rather than certainty is listed under Settings → Review matched movies, so a library of unmatched films is a short confirmation list instead of hundreds of manual searches. Two films sharing a title no longer overwrite each other.
Upcoming movies
Films you've added that aren't out yet live in their own tab with a countdown, instead of cluttering your watch list.
Lists
Create, rename and delete them, add shows and films by search, and drag to reorder. Re-importing never undoes your edits.
Reminders worth keeping on
Season and series finale alerts, a nudge when you're an episode or two from finishing a season, a Friday movie-night reminder, and a come-back reminder after a week away — but only when episodes are actually waiting. Each one is separately switchable.
Sharing
TV Time-style share cards for shows, episodes and films, saved as a real image.
Built for iPad
Rotates, and lays out for the screen instead of stretching a phone design across it. On a large iPad a show or film opens beside your library rather than covering it.
Also in this release
Reminders are now offered when you open the app, instead of hiding in Settings. Two seasons can stay open at once. Pull past the top of a show, episode or film to close it. Matching a title actually looks like it worked — and can no longer wipe the artwork it already had. Search your own library from the Shows and Movies grids. Unreleased episodes show the wait instead of a checkbox you could tick by accident. "Stop watching" now removes a show from the Watch List. Browser-extension exports import properly. A ZIP that can't be read reports a real error instead of a cheerful "0 imported". No more lag after switching apps. Your whole library is browsable offline.

• Comments you keep to yourself now have the same pencil button and full writing page as everyone else's.
• Prefer the old tab bar? Settings → General → Classic tab bar.
