New: a VIN decoder tab. Type, scan or plate-lookup any VIN and read it character by character — year, make, model, engine, transmission, plant and body style, with a check-digit verdict that catches typos and fabricated VINs. Free, instant, and no account needed. Also: the language picker is now the standard iOS menu, and the few labels that had stayed in English now follow your language.

Now in Spanish, French, German and Arabic. Pick a language in Account, or leave it on System and the app follows your phone. Arabic reads right to left throughout. And if you bought a report on carcheckervin.com — in a browser, on another device, months ago — enter that email in Account, take the 6-digit code, and every report you own opens right here. No password, and buying still needs no account at all.

The full report now lives inside the app — the same 20 sections the website shows, with a condition grade up top so you get the verdict before the detail. Tap the odometer chart to see every reading. Download, print or share the PDF from the report itself, and it now arrives attached to your purchase email too. Also: a redesigned home screen with VIN and plate side by side, damage records that show where the car was hit rather than just that records exist, report packs you can top up any time, and studio photos for cars with no picture on file.

Report credits now work inside the app. If you bought a multi-report bundle, the app offers to use one of your credits instead of charging you again — your remaining balance is shown before you tap. Also in this update: • A purchased report that wouldn't open can now be restored with the email you bought it with. • Fixed the scan button opening the wrong car.
