Version 1.9 — five new tools, a weld log, and the app outside itself.
• Wall thickness from pressure under ASME B31.3 and EN 13480 — with mill tolerance, corrosion allowance, the schedule it comes to and a check of the pipe on the bench.
• Heat input from volts, amps and a timed run, and the preheat EN 1011-2 calls for. On the groove screen: how much wire or rod to draw, and how many hours of arc.
• Pressure drop down a line by Darcy–Weisbach — pipe, fittings, valves and height — and the size a chosen velocity calls for.
• Tube bending: marks from the end, setbacks, gain, cut length and the angle to set for springback.
• Breeches piece: the cut on the main and both legs, ordinates, DXF or printed 1:1.
• A weld log on the isometric: every weld numbered, with welder, WPS, date, examination and status. Out to CSV or a PDF weld map.
• Isometrics out as PCF for isometric software, and as a 3D DXF of the true centreline.
• Apple Pencil on iPad: the pencil draws runs, fingers move the sheet. Handwritten notes in four colours, printed in the PDF.
• Siri and Shortcuts: “Start purge” counts down on the Lock Screen without opening the app. A Home Screen widget with four tools, and the purge countdown in the Smart Stack on Apple Watch.
• Automatic backup of your history into a folder you choose, such as iCloud Drive.
