極めて優れたメールです。有料もあるけど無料でも使えます。また、VPNやカレンダーが実装されたことにより親和性も向上。ただし、英語ができない方は使うのをやめたほうがいい。残念ながらそうとしかいいようがない。Gメールやヤフーメールがあるのにあえてプロトンを選ぶのは、プライバシーのため、です。脱グーグル。そのために存在するシステムです。逆にいうと脱グーグルに興味がないのならば、使いこなせません。

I don’t know what’s up with this app but despite my notification settings it no longer sends me the alerts that I need for the important emails that I have to be sent to this mailbox.Furthermore, when I finally discover the hundreds of emails that I’ve missed, I mark a number of them and then delete and though it looks like the app is working through the commands I’ve sent, it shows everything as completely untouched.Did Protonmail abandon the app to be web-based only or am I missing something?

In the meantime, we can offer some troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the notification issue. Please make sure that the ProtonMail app is fully closed in the Tasks/Apps menu. After you have made sure that the app is shut down, please navigate to your device settings, find the ProtonMail app, disable notifications and background refresh, and then re-enable them. Additionally, please note that we are working on a complete redesign of the ProtonMail app. The new version of the ProtonMail app will have a more modern look and feel, improved functionality, and plenty of new features. So difficult to search for emails

This has been a problem for the longest of time.With the search functionality you can only search through the email subject content.You will not get results from matches within the email content.I believe they may be making excuses that this is because of the e2e encryption but more data could be stored locally securely in order to over come this.Also you cannot use the app without internet, again storing emails locally will allow some viewing of cached emails which is very useful if travelling in a plane etc.

On the Proton Mail web and desktop apps, you can use content search too: https://proton.me/support/search-message-content. We've added your vote to the existing request for supporting offline mode internally, to help prioritize future improvements to our app.
