• Your free week of Quill Pro starts with your first question. Sign in, open Quill, and ask about the scene you're reading: 500 credits for seven days, no card needed. You can subscribe in the app any time. • Email sign-in works again. If sending the link ever fails, you'll now see why: a mistyped address, too many requests, or no connection. • Signing out really signs you out: your synced scripts close and leave your recent list, and switching accounts no longer shows the previous account's scripts. • When Quill can't answer, it tells you why (signed out, out of credits, or busy) with the one button that helps.

Fixed • Opening a script no longer freezes the app. Tapping a PDF stored in iCloud Drive that hadn't finished downloading could lock up Inkwell Reader and, if you switched apps while it was stuck, close it outright. Scripts now open in the background with a quiet "Opening…" cue, so the app stays responsive wherever the file lives. Improved • Watermarked PDFs come in clean. A name or notice stamped across every page no longer leaks into your script as stray action lines, whether it runs diagonally or straight across. • Dialogue stays together. Long speeches from PDF, Final Draft, or Fountain no longer split partway through, so Sides highlighting and line counts are accurate. • Character extensions are kept. (V.O.), (O.S.), and (CONT'D) tags survive Fountain import, and continued cues are never doubled. • Acts and sequences round-trip from Final Draft. Section headers open cleanly, and an action line that follows one is no longer dropped.

Your scripts now travel with you. Turn on sync in the Inkwell editor on your Mac, and your screenplays are waiting for you here — on your iPhone and iPad. They travel end-to-end encrypted: each script is encrypted on your Mac before it's uploaded, and the key that opens it stays on your own devices. Sync is optional and off by default. • Your synced library appears automatically when you sign in, each script marked with a cloud icon. • Scripts download on tap, then read fully offline — with Sides highlighting, search, and reading themes. • New device? Unlock your encrypted library with your recovery code. • Plus PDF importing, and reliability fixes throughout. The full writing experience lives in the Inkwell editor for Mac at inkwell.app.

A brand-new PDF import engine. Scripts now import the way they were written. Inkwell Reader looks at where text actually sits on the page — so scripts that used to come in scrambled now read clean: • Dual dialogue stays side-by-side as two paired speeches • Stage plays and theatrical formats keep their dialogue (no more walls of "action") • Sentences read in the right order, even in tricky PDFs • Shooting scripts keep their scene numbers • Speeches split across page breaks are stitched back together • Page numbers, running headers, and revision marks no longer leak into the text • Imports are noticeably faster

Fixes a crash that could occur on Mac when opening the Quill drawer or the outline drawer. No other changes.
