You don't get fluent by grinding through a made-up, years-long course that leaves you able to read and write but barely able to speak. You get fluent the way people do when they move abroad: the language is around them all day, and the brain does what it's good at and finds the patterns. Level puts that on your phone. You start with the words that actually carry a conversation. The 1,000 most common ones already cover about 80% of everyday speech, so you say real things fast, and Level keeps widening from there toward the full vocabulary that makes you truly fluent. Every word reaches you from all four sides in the same week. You read it, hear it, say it, and write it yourself, so it sticks. No grammar tables to memorize. The grammar lives inside what you practice, and your brain picks up the rules on its own. Level also keeps track of where you stand on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, then aims the next lesson at your weakest skill, so you're always working on what's actually holding you back. This is for people who want real fluency, not points. A word counts as known only once you've used it across all four skills, so your level, A1 to C1, is one you've earned. New in this version: Spot every word that fits, not just one. A new exercise asks you to catch all the right options in a sentence, so the close calls get tested too. The level you see now reflects where you are today. Your best level so far is kept as its own marker. Practice sentences are written and checked on the fly, so they sit closer to your level. Plus smaller fixes and polish.
