ヨーロッパの旅行で❣️
5月にマドリードとパリにマリオットボンボエを友人からの紹介で利用する事になりました。一年前から予約していました。マドリードウエスティンでは噴水の見える部屋が改装の為変更になりましたが、日本語の話せるアントニオさんが色々手配してくれました。エアーフランスの３日前のフライト変更には驚きましたが、結果1人で過ごす時間が増えましたがフロントのにアントニオさんのおかげで不安は無くなりました。とても感謝しています。イベリア航空のパリ行きの便が早く朝食を食べてる時間がないですねと言ったら朝６時30分にルームサービスにて朝食を取ることが出来ました。持病の薬を飲まないと駄目なのでとても感激しました。パリのウエスティンまで日本語の話せるスタッフがいるかまで聞いてくれました。残念ながら金曜日まで日本語話せるスタッフはいないとの事でしたがわざわざパリまで電話して聞いてくれた事に感謝してます。彼は素晴らしいフロントスタッフとしてジョブアップすると思います。パリのウエスティンは残念ですが駄目でしたね。部屋の清掃や最終日は部屋の清掃もしてなく本当に困りました。持病の腰の薬がとて汗をかくからです。お昼過ぎにまだ清掃してなく少し不安でしたが、夜１０時に部屋に戻ったら部屋はそのままでした、とりあえず荷物をパッケージしてバスローブが一枚とタオル小さいのが2枚しかなく電話しても出なかったですね。この件は全て解決しました。マリオットさんパリ何も悪くわないです。全てはパリウエスティンの問題でした。マリオットさんの対応が素晴らしく私は大ファンになりました。カードも入会しました。これからマリオットボンボエさんとの長いお付き合いが始まりますね。安心した旅行が出来る事に感謝します。ありがとうございました。 諏訪裕二
ルネッサンス沖縄
予約していた部屋が最後まで用意されず、それに対する補償も謝罪もないまま別の狭い部屋での滞在がおわりました。散々でした。
14時過ぎに到着、チェックインするも予約した部屋が準備できていないため、低層階の狭い部屋に詰め込まれ、そこで部屋が準備できるまで待機するよう言われる。
15時過ぎても、チェックイン時に預けたスーツケース含め荷物全てが部屋に届かず、何もできない状態が続く。乳児の離乳食もお菓子も水筒もない状態。
部屋からフロントへ電話するも30分かけ続けてもつながらず、結局自身の携帯電話から外線で電話をかけてフロントに荷物くらい持ってくるよう催促するもそこからさらに15分ほどたってようやく仮の部屋にとどく。
チェックインから2時半経過しても部屋が準備された連絡が一向にこないのに加えて、フロントへ電話がつながらず、フロントに出向いて説明を求める。
マネージャーらしき人が出てくるも、まだ部屋の準備がでてきていないと。チェックインからここまで2時間半。
さらに別の部屋に案内され、その部屋での宿泊を提案される。
予約していたのはツインベッド＋エキストラベッドの計3ベッドの部屋。案内されたのはダブルベット 一つの部屋。どうやって子供含め４人で寝ろというのか。呆れてものがいえないが、早朝からの長旅と、チェックイン時の不手際のためクタクタに疲れ、夕飯も迫っていたためその部屋に入ることに。
エキストラベッドを入れるよう提案され、渋々承知したものの、結局ベッドメイキングされた後は、もともとあったソファベッドがエキストラベッドの代わりにベッドメイキングされていた。
それでは、ルームサービスを頼んだ夕飯はどこに座ってたべるのか。備え付けのワーキングデスク用の椅子一つに、後の人はベッド上に座り夕飯。
翌日や、せめてチェックアウトの際に当然謝罪や補償などがあるかと思っていたが、予定していた部屋での料金で請求され一切謝罪などはなかった。
さらに追い討ちをかけるように、チェックアウト後にレンタカーが止めてある駐車場（一番ホテルから遠い）までホテルのシャトルで送ってもらった際、後ろに入れてあるスーツケース二つを積み下ろしている時に、ホテル方向へと車が発車しスーツケースが落ちそうになる。あわや大事故になるようなことがあり、大声で車を静止するも謝罪も車の中からで、荷物を自分たちで下されるとそのまま走り去っていった。
出発の時間も決まっていたため、そこで説明を求めることはできなかったが、帰宅後、説明を求めるようボンボイ経由で連絡してもらうもメールでも、電話でも一切なにもなし。
快適な旅
2023年6月から何度か帰国しながらの世界周遊旅行を楽みました。毎年400万円以上の利用でプラチナエリートステータスを継続するのは難しいので、2022年は日常の生活費の支出に加えて航空機の代金やホテルの予約などできるだけマリオットbonvoy カードを利用してなんとかプラチナエリートを獲得しました。利用回数は10回あまりではありしたが、その間に少なくとも5回はSuiteへのアップグレードをしていただき、おかげでとっても豪華な気分を味わうことができました。一度だけ残念で不快な滞在がありました（当該ホテルには報告済み）が、それ以外はマリオット系列のホテルは居心地がとても良いです。
