The Nextcloud Talk app requires a Nextcloud Talk server to function. Nextcloud is a private, self-hosted file sync and communication platform, designed to put you back in control over your data. LINEやSkypeのような吹き出し形式でのDM表示を期待していたのですが、MS Teamsのような掲示板に近い表示しかできないようでガッカリしました。（かといってSlackのような洗練さもありません）せっかくTalkでアプリが分離されているのに、これでは価値を見出せません。公式サイトのトップ画像ではスマホの画面表示が吹き出しになっていて、あたかも吹き出し表示ができるような印象を受けますが、実際はできないので詐欺に近いですね…TeamsのUIは非常にわかりにくいことで有名なので真似るのはやめてほしいです。Slackのようなベーシックなチャット表示と、Skype（LINE）のような吹き出し表示の両方に対応し、表示の切り替えができるとTalkの価値が跳ね上がると思います。まあこんなところで要望したところで反映されることは永久にないでしょうが…Skypeが終了してしまい、LINEが嫌いなので、代替を探していてTalkを見つけたのですが、公式サイトの紹介 内容と実態が違っていて非常に残念でなりません。

このアプリ愛用してます！みんなにも使って欲しいです笑笑もっと有名になるべきですよ！ほんとに！ちょっと使いにくい所はあるけど、そこはまた改善してもっと良くなりそうなので、オススメです☺️

Server installed by snap on Ubuntuu20.04. SSL setted self_signed. Iphone talk app can connect server by IPnumber,but DNS cant. Android talk app can connect both IPnumber/DNS.
