PHVD is an educational and reference tool for qualified neonatal healthcare professionals working with post-haemorrhagic ventricular dilatation in preterm infants. Enter serial cranial ultrasound measurements — ventricular index (VI) and anterior horn width (AHW) — alongside post-menstrual age. Plot measurement trends and view the published green, yellow and red risk framework adapted from El-Dib et al. (2020), with TOD excluded in this version. Clinical signs are included in the published criteria. It does not replace clinical assessment, imaging review or your unit’s protocol. Every measurement and output must be independently verified by a qualified healthcare professional. PRIVACY Measurement history and image processing remain on your device. The app has no account, login or analytics and does not transmit your entered measurements. A disclaimer must be accepted before use. References to El-Dib et al. (2020) and Brouwer et al. (2012) are available in the app.

• Corrected the VI/AHW risk criteria and ventricular index curve using the published paper and supplementary calculators. • Removed TOD from this version. • Shows only the management plan for the entered measurement zone beside the result, with all three zones retained at the end as a reference. • Preserved English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. • Fixed decimal-comma entry, history recovery, local dates, graph clipping and exporting after saving. • Improved offline reliability and measurement parsing, including compatibility with older supported iOS versions.
