PrivyMark scans your photos for the private details you might accidentally share — a face in the background, an email or phone number in a screenshot, a card number on a receipt, an address on a shipping label — and helps you cover them in one tap before you post, message, or send. Everything happens on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded, and PrivyMark doesn't collect, track, or store anything about you. SCAN FIRST, NOT JUST BLUR • On-device detection for faces, QR/barcodes, emails, phone numbers, URLs, street addresses, card-style numbers, ID/passport numbers, order and tracking numbers, and names • Every match is shown as a suggestion you can review — turn any of them on or off before you export • Low-confidence matches are labeled "Maybe" instead of silently covering — or missing — something COVER IT YOUR WAY • Solid block — the safest option, fully opaque and irreversible • Pixelate or blur — for a softer look (these can sometimes be reversed on text, so text defaults to solid block) • Hide Text — blends a text region into its background so it disappears in place • Marker — freehand strokes for anything the scan missed • Faces get a fun emoji cover by default — tap to swap the emoji, drag to reposition FIX WHAT THE SCAN MISSED • Long-press any line of text to "explode" it into individual words and cover just the parts that matter • Draw your own box around anything, anywhere • Pinch to zoom in for pixel-precise touch-ups • Full undo/redo CLEAN UP METADATA, TOO • See exactly what's hiding in the file — GPS location, device model, timestamps, and more • GPS is stripped by default; choose what else to remove • Optional check for hidden pixel-level watermarks some apps embed in screenshots (best-effort — see note below) SHARE FROM ANYWHERE • Send a photo to PrivyMark from the share sheet in Photos, Messages, or any app • Scan, cover, and share back out without leaving your flow 100% FREE • No account, no subscription, no paywalled tools, no watermark added to your exports • Every detection type and every cover style is free, forever MADE FOR iOS • Universal app for iPhone and iPad • VoiceOver labels and Dynamic Type support throughout • Works fully offline, including in Airplane Mode BE HONEST ABOUT LIMITS PrivyMark's scan is a smart assistant, not a guarantee — always review its suggestions before you share. Pixelation and blur can sometimes be reversed on text, which is why text defaults to a solid cover. The hidden-watermark check catches simple pixel-level tricks; it cannot detect or remove professional forensic watermarking designed to survive edits. PrivyMark never uploads your photos, doesn't use ad or tracking SDKs, and doesn't collect analytics of any kind. Every feature is free. Redact by the word. • Trim any detected risk down to individual words. Long-press it on the photo, or tap "Words" in the risk list, then deselect anything that should stay readable. • Detections are tighter. Field labels like "Billed to:" and "Card:" now stay visible, and a cover no longer bleeds onto the words beside it. • Addresses start after the label instead of blacking out the whole line. • New in Settings: if PrivyMark saves you trouble, you can buy me a coffee. Everything in the app stays free — a coffee unlocks nothing. Thanks to the user who wrote in asking for word-by-word control. Keep the feedback coming.
