RateProof turns a capacity verification study into a single tool you carry in your pocket.
Built by a supplier quality engineer for the production floor: time real cycles with a full screen stopwatch, enter line configuration, and watch every operation's demonstrated capacity stand against its required rate. The constraint operation is flagged automatically. When the run starts, tally good parts, scrap, and downtime hour by hour and see the projected verdict move in real time.
RateProof computes what a customer capacity form computes, so the study you run at the line matches the arithmetic your customer checks in the office.
WHAT IT DOES
- Cycle timing built for the floor: a giant lap button, works one handed, keeps the screen awake, and every lap is saved the instant you tap
- The full capacity model: parallel machines, multi cavity tooling, planned downtime, changeover duration and frequency, and scrap all accounted for
- Downstream scrap propagation: every operation carries its own requirement, raised by the scrap of the operations after it, the way a customer form derives it
- Two utilization measures per operation: part capability and machine utilization, with the higher one governing and labeled
- Five risk bands at the standard 85, 90, and 100 percent thresholds, including the medium risk band customer forms distinguish
- Constraint selection with integrity: hard stops and unreadable figures outrank a manual pin, so a pin cannot hide a failing operation
- Masked constraint detection: when the final operation projects more good parts than the constraint over the same window, the report says so and states both causes
- Planned versus observed reconciliation: cycle time, scrap, and downtime deltas after the run, so you see where the observation disagrees with the plan
- Part families and groups: one study covering multiple part numbers with the combined arithmetic made explicit, never inferred
- Live production run tally: hourly good, scrap, and downtime with a running projection
- Professional reports: paginated PDF and a fully formatted Excel workbook with real numeric cells your team can compute on
- Audit trail: every kept cycle is timestamped in the report, and discarded outliers stay visible, struck through
- Honest by construction: requirements round up, capacities round down, so the app never overstates what your line can do
- Fully offline: RateProof never uploads anything. Files leave the device only when you share them
