SeeOSC is a powerful toolkit designed for artists and creative coders. It enables you to access your device's sensors and send data over OSC, whilst simultaneously streaming video to and from the device using the TouchDesigner integration or the Desktop Companion. Key Features:
- Direct TouchDesigner/NDI integration: send and receive video and audio streams, as well as sensor data, directly to and from NDI or TouchDesigner
- Access and send LiDAR stream from supported devices (over NDI)
- Comprehensive Sensor Access: Utilise your device's sensors, as well as control the device’s vibration and brightness to create dynamic, real-time applications.
- Dummy Data Generation: Test features or use devices lacking specific sensors by generating realistic, synthetic sensor data, eliminating the need to physically move your phone.
- OSC Protocol Support: Ensure compatibility with a wide range of creative applications by streaming sensor data using the versatile OSC protocol.
Device Information: Send device information over OSC, like screen resolution, DPI, battery status etc. Useful for dynamically adjusting the experience for different devices or monitoring a device’s status.
- Bidirectional Video Streaming: Low-latency video streaming to and from your device, enhancing interactive and immersive creative projects.
- Spout Integration via Desktop Companion: Easily send Spout feeds to SeeOSC and output incoming video streams from the app as Spout feeds, facilitating smooth video sharing with compatible desktop applications.
- Enhanced Creative Possibilities: Leverage real-time data and video streams to enable dynamic interactions, responsive visuals, and immersive environments in your projects.
- Intuitive Controls: Configure your streaming settings, select sensors, and manage video streams through a clean and accessible user interface. Tooltips are available for each configurable element to assist with explanations.
- Sensor Recording: record, playback and export sensor data to CSV or JSON.
- Experimental Custom Control Surface Mode: create custom control surfaces with sliders, faders, buttons etc to send over OSC, DMX or MIDI. Combine with a video streaming element to preview video directly in the control surface mode.
- Experimental Features: send sensor data over MIDI and receive OSC commands to control vibration and brightness.
